He also talks about growing up in Paris, Texas and playing college football at SMU with Forrest Gregg and Lamar Hunt.

Texas Sports Hall of Fame inductees Gil Brandt, Cotton Davidson, and Tony Franklin share memories of Raymond as a teammate, assistant coach, and head coach.

He coached many future major league stars including Burt Hooton, Roger Clemens, Greg Swindell, and Keith Moreland. Hear amazing stories from Texas Sports Hall of Famer Cliff Gustafson's life as well as the backstories to the national championships from him and featured guests Roger Clemens and Keith Moreland. Hear his memories of playing and coaching under Bear Bryant, coaching Texas A&M to the Cotton Bowl, working as an assistant under Tom Landry with the Dallas Cowboys, and winning the national championship as head coach with Alabama.

Former players Cliff Harris and Tommy Maxwell also share stories, along with writer Mickey Herskowitz. Herskowitz shares the wonderful story of the "Texas Special."
